Marketing shouldn't feel like a necessary evil.
The price you pay for doing what you love.
But if you're like most Spirit-Led Creators I meet, that's exactly what it's become.
You love the creating. The videos. The writing. Thinking deeply about your message and sharing it well. And the results that come from serving people in it.
That part is life.
It's the selling that drains you.
The same webinar you've cranked through a dozen times. The funnel some guru swears by that makes your stomach knot. The quiet Sunday-night dread of another launch week.
And underneath it all, one thought keeps surfacing:
"I wish I could just create and serve the people who buy... instead of spending all this time trying to get the sale."
If you've ever thought that, this is for you.
Because I have good news.
The problem was never you.
It's the model you were handed.
Think about every funnel you've ever been pushed through.
Clickbait to get the click.
No option but to opt in.
A low-ticket offer that expires at midnight.
Ten upsells "before they're gone for good."
And finally, the pitch — whether it's right for you or not.
Everything designed to get YOU to do what THEY want. As fast as possible. For as much as possible.
That's push marketing. It runs on greed — what can I get out of this? — and it gets its way through manipulation and pressure.
You've felt it from the inside. It felt icky.
So when you sat down to build your own marketing, and the only blueprint anyone ever handed you was that one...
...no wonder it felt off.
You weren't failing at marketing. You were succeeding at noticing something was wrong with it.
I want to show you how Jesus "marketed" His earthly ministry.
(Stay with me — I mean it seriously.)
Jesus came to bring real transformation to real people. And thousands followed Him everywhere He went.
Not because He convinced them to.
Because they experienced something so life-giving they wanted to.
Look at how it started. Water into wine at a wedding. He saw a need, was invited to meet it — He never forced it — and He gave from the goodness He had.
People paid attention. They wanted to know more. So they followed.
And when Jesus saw the crowds, He didn't think how can I use this to my advantage?
Scripture says He was moved with compassion. That compassion led Him to teach them — the Sermon on the Mount — and people left astonished, because He spoke as one with authority. He spoke to hearts.
Nobody was pushed down a funnel.
They were invited on a journey. And they came.
That's pull marketing. It runs on compassion — serving people so well they WANT more of you, even if they never buy.
And when your offer finally comes around, the right people say yes. Not because you argued them into it. Because you gave goodness and started a journey they want to go deeper into.
I call it Strategic Goodness.
Marketing that sees the person, meets them in their mire, and gives them the best thing possible in that moment — while setting them up for something greater.
I believe you.
Because goodness without strategy doesn't cause transformation.
Think of goodness as being a diamond. If I throw the diamond at your head, you won't receive it. You'll duck. But, if I hand you the diamond gently, you receive it and want to know more.
True value comes from goodness delivered correctly — so that people receive it and are changed by it.
That's why the word strategic matters. Every good thing you give does two jobs at once: it genuinely helps someone right now, and it sets up their next step. Goodness that moves people — not goodness that pours out and evaporates.
That's a skill. And it can be learned.
I know, because I learned it the hard way. My first big campaign, back in 2014, made $48,000 in five days...
...and it's the one piece of work I'd take back if I could.
That story is where the series begins.
I put the principles of Strategic Goodness into a free email series called Goodness Beats Greed.
Seven emails. Seven days. One layer at a time.
Inside:
The $48,000 story — and the dirty secret it taught me about pressure.
The verse that rebuilt my entire approach to marketing.
The three movements of Strategic Goodness — the engine under marketing that feels good and works.
The four systems that carry someone from stranger to enrolled, without you pushing.
And a simple plan forward, wherever you're starting from.
Why seven emails instead of one PDF? Because a real shift in thinking doesn't happen in one sitting. It happens one layer at a time, with room to breathe.
That's how metanoia works. (You'll learn that word on day two.)
The first email is on its way the moment you sign up.
Then one a day for seven days. No strategy dump. No pitch hiding behind day one.
After that, you'll hear from me weekly — going deeper into the strategy behind everything the series unveils.
And full transparency: near the end of the series, I'll show you ways to go deeper with me — including an invitation to work together, if it's right for you. No countdown timers. No pressure. By then, you'd expect nothing less.
What I ask of you: read them. Reply when something lands — I read every response. And do something with what you learn.
If it's not for you, unsubscribe anytime and take the goodness with you. I mean that.
Marketing was never meant to be the tax on your calling.
It can become the part that feels like ministry.
Let me show you.

Be blessed,
Justen Miller
Remember, goodness beats greed.
